Password & Security

Keep your Bistu account secure by managing your password and enabling two-factor authentication.

Changing your password

1. Go to Account in the sidebar
2. Find the Security section
3. Click Change Password
4. Enter your new password
5. Confirm the change

Choose a strong password that:

• Is at least 8 characters long
• Includes a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols
• Is not used on other websites

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account. When enabled, you'll need to enter a code from your authenticator app in addition to your password when signing in.

Setting up 2FA

1. Go to Account in the sidebar
2. Find the Security section
3. Click Enable 2FA
4. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password)
5. Enter the verification code from your app to confirm

Disabling 2FA

1. Go to Account in the sidebar
2. Find the Security section
3. Click Disable 2FA
4. Confirm your decision

Note: Disabling 2FA makes your account less secure. We recommend keeping it enabled.
