What is Bistu?
Bistu is a website builder designed specifically for small businesses like restaurants, retail shops, and service providers. It lets you create a professional website in minutes without any coding or design skills.
Do I need technical skills to use Bistu?
Not at all. Bistu is built for busy business owners who don't have time to learn web development. Everything is done through simple forms — just fill in your details and your website is ready.
Can I use Bistu on my phone?
Yes. The Bistu dashboard is fully responsive and works on mobile devices, tablets, and desktop computers.
Website
How long does it take to set up my website?
Most users can get their website published in under 10 minutes. Just fill in your business details, choose a template, and save.
Can I change my template after publishing?
Yes. You can switch between templates at any time from the website editor. Your content stays the same — only the visual design changes.
Can I use my own domain name?
Custom domain support is not yet available. Your website is hosted on a Bistu URL based on your business name.
How do I take my website offline?
You can archive your website from the dashboard. Archived sites are not visible to the public, but your content is preserved so you can republish later.
Billing
Is there a free trial?
Yes. All new accounts come with a 14-day free trial. You get full access to your chosen plan's features during the trial period.
When will I be charged?
Your first charge occurs when your 14-day free trial ends. After that, you're billed based on your chosen billing cycle (monthly or yearly).
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time. Your website will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
How do I get a refund?
Contact our support team at support@bistu.com for refund requests. We review each request on a case-by-case basis.
Account
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
- Go to the login page
- Click Forgot Password?
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for a password reset link
- Click the link and set a new password
Can I change my email address?
Yes. Go to Account in the sidebar and update your email address in the profile settings.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Bistu uses industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication through Supabase, and payment processing through Stripe. You can also enable two-factor authentication for extra security.
